What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file which a webpage adds to your computer (or another device) via the browser when you visit the webpage. Cookies allow a webpage to recognise and remember your computer or device. As a result, it is easier and more convenient for your computer to load the webpage. Every time you visit our webpage, the browser sends that file to the webpage server.

What types of cookies are used on webpages?

  • Session cookies which are deleted automatically after every visit.
    • Permanent cookies which are stored upon repeated use of the webpage.
    • Third party cookies are cookies used by the webpages of partners added or linked on our webpages. We do not control the creation of such cookies and therefore you can get information about such cookies from third parties.

Why do we use cookies and what kind of information do we collect?

Cookies help us provide services according to your wishes and habits. For instance, we use cookies for recommending content, making advertisements more relevant, making logging in easier, and protecting the data of our customers. Cookies are also used for counting visitors and recording their user habits.
